Reflection
3. When he gets on the train, he
cannot find an empty seat. How is this problem solved for him? How might this
be a cultural solution?
The problem was solved when the small
kid gave him he's seat and then he sat on his leg, I think
is solution is kind of cultural because if your a kid and u see and elder
standing you should stand and let the elder sit.
4. As any exchange student, he has a
lot of experiences trying new food. His first encounter is with an iced drink. What happens?
He was shocked when Puro told
him that a lot of tourist who try the iced drink get ill and
he immediately felt is stomach paining and then the first thing he
thought about is how far is the hotel he wanted to get rest and sit alone
for a while.
7. Todd wants to check in to a hotel.
But Puro insists he comes to a boarding house. What is the reason he gives Todd?
Puro tells him that
the place of the hotel is very lonely and that he'll talk him to auntie Jee's
house she’ll take care of him.
8. As soon as they meet, Aunti Ji
starts asking very intimate questions that Americans who have just met would never ask. What kind of things
does she ask?
She asks him questions about his
personal life such as what does you father do and how much is
your salary and if he had a girlfriend or not and he was just
setting there not knowing what to answer back and he didn't get the point
that why is she asking these questions
